Registered with Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers and Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
With an extensive clinical background, I have been privileged to support clients of all ages and concerns. My role with parents/caregivers includes providing a safe and supportive environment where they can explore and better understand their challenges while developing strategies to improve their mental health. Together, we set goals, learn skills, strengthen relationships, and practice self-care.
I use an integrative approach to ensure that service matches the client’s unique needs and goals. I find value and ease with modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy, among others. I apply sensitivity and understanding to individual beliefs, customs, and prior lived experiences and the role/meaning they hold for clients. I have a special interest in the areas of stress/anxiety, depression, life transitions, work related issues, health issues and the unique needs of caregivers.
