RPHN Clinical Counsellor,
Masters of Social Work (MSW), Registered Social Worker (RSW)
Being a parent is hard, and I’m here to help! I have specialized training and experience related to perinatal mental health, parenting, attachment, and trauma, and I’m passionate about supporting children, parents, and families. I love collaborating with parents to support them in feeling seen, overcoming their struggles, and being the parents (and people!) they want to be.
I have worked as a social worker since 2010 with children, youth, families, and adults in a variety of settings, including inpatient and community mental health treatment, residential group care, foster care, child welfare, and in-home and school-based support. I completed a Master of Social Work with a Clinical Specialization in 2019 and became a new parent myself a few years later.
In my clinical work, I use trauma-informed, strengths-based, somatic, and/or skills-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Theraplay.
Registered with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW) and the Alberta College of Social Workers
