Perinatal Health Facilitator, B.A. Psych
I have always juggled many passions at once and love to stay busy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and many trainings in perinatal mental health and supporting child development. I spend my time reading, changing diapers, and exploring the world through the eyes of my children.
I was called to work in perinatal mental health after the birth of my son in 2024. I am a maternal near miss survivor, a NICU/Premie Mama, and I experienced Perinatal PTSD and Prenatal Anxiety and Depression. I understand first hand how heavy and isolating the perinatal experience can be. I owe my healing to perinatal professionals and meaningful connection with those who truly get it. I am honored that I get the opportunity to support families in the ways that were so crucial to my story. I use my lived experience to promote change, increase perinatal mental health support and improve maternal mortality and morbidity outcomes. I am passionate about creating safe, accessible, and supportive spaces for families to grieve, heal, and grow.
I currently live in Regina with my husband and our two children, welcomed in 2021 and 2024.
