Led by a perinatal mental health facilitator, this peer support group is for parents who are currently or previously experienced time in the NICU for any reason. Experiences in the NICU are unique and complex, with parents of NICU babies being at increased risk of experiencing Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders and/or PTSD. Our group is a safe space for parents to connect with others with similar lived experiences and receive helpful resources. We kindly ask that any babies in attendance be under 2 years old. Please be mindful of medically fragile families in attendance.

Perinatal Health Facilitator, B.A. Psych

I have always juggled many passions at once and love to stay busy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina. I have also taken specialized training in perinatal mental health.

I spend my time reading, changing diapers, and exploring the world through the eyes of my children. I am passionate about creating safe, accessible, and supportive spaces for families. Having gone through a heavy perinatal experience myself, I understand, first hand, the value of having a village. I strive to support families in building their village so they can truly immerse themselves in all those magical moments.

I currently live in Regina with my husband and our two children, welcomed in 2021 and 2024.
